As a native of Detroit, MI, Don came up musically in the stark urban grunge scene of the late 80's early 90's. Grinding his way to NYC he indulged in other passions which eventually led him back to his music BUT THIS TIME reinvented as a singer/songwriter with his heart cracked wide open, no apologies, just living and breathing it like a second skin.
Don is honored to have his songs in two films: one in Academy Award-winning director, ANG LEE's "Taking Woodstock" and the documentary about the oil business "Houston We Have a Problem" which features the song "Lessons from the Road" Don is currently playing in and around New York City and booking a tour of the south next year.
